2025-2026 Executive Board

President - Jennifer Collins is serving her first term as the PTA President, previously serving as Chair person to several committees and Room Parent. She loves being involved in school-wide initiatives that impact our Kids’ education and school experience.

Jennifer and her husband Matt have a daughter who is a rising third grader.

Professionally, Jennifer works full time.

Vice-President - Diane Mahoney is new to the PTA Board this year and is excited to be serving as Sycolin Creek's PTA Vice President! 

Diane and her husband Tom are both Northern Virginia natives, and have lived in Loudoun County Since 2014. Their daughter is a rising fourth grader and their son is a rising first grader, and they are grateful to be a part of the SCES community.

Diane has worked in HR for the past 20 years, and currently works full time at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Treasurer - Karen Jones is returning as our PTA Board Treasurer this school year!

Karen and her husband Ryan have a rising eighth grader, a rising sixth grader and their youngest is in rising third grader this year! Their family enjoys their dog Piper and cat Luna live in the Sycolin Creek community!

Karen met her husband in Grad School while completing her Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a project lead at MITRE Corporation.

Secretary -  Anna Joachim is returning as our PTA Board Secretary! 

Anna and her husband Curtis have lived in Leesburg since 2016 and love meeting new friends in the community. They have 2 daughters, the oldest a rising second grader and their youngest is a rising first grader this year! Anna’s daughters are active in competitive dance & gymnastics. In her spare time she loves game nights, seeking out the latest “parent hacks” to share & traveling.

Before moving to Leesburg Anna worked as a Marketing Coordinator and Accounting Manager. She’s excited to use her background to help plan fun events for the Sycolin students and families!

We as Board Members wear many hats just like our community of parents at Sycolin Creek and are here to help us be the best PTA we can be!
